Working within the Singapore Math curriculum, Silverwood’s 6th grade math program is grounded in real-world examples and applications that make learning fun and relevant to all students. Whether work is being done individually or collaboratively, students will develop problem solving skills, critical thinking and confidence that will help them succeed in all subject areas. Math concepts include tessellations, triangles and solid figures, algebraic expressions, ratios, percentages and speed.
